The Art of the Back Print

Crest & Court Motor & Travel editorial image

There is a reason the front of a Crest & Court tee stays quiet.

The large back print gives each piece two different lives. From the front, it is restrained and easy to wear. Turn around and the full story appears.

Designed to be discovered

A marina, a court, a mountain lodge or a touring road works better when it has space. Instead of compressing the illustration into a small chest graphic, we treat the back as an editorial page: typography, setting and detail arranged as one composition.

The front stays clean

That restraint matters. A clean front keeps the shirt from feeling like merchandise and lets it layer easily under an overshirt or jacket. The graphic becomes the surprise rather than the first thing demanding attention.

Scale without noise

A large graphic does not have to feel loud. The palette, typography and vintage-inspired illustration style do most of the work. The goal is something that feels collected from a place or club that could exist, without pretending the brand has a history it does not.

A consistent signature

Across the collection, the back-print format becomes a recognizable Crest & Court signature: clean from the front, world-building from the back.
